Our second water tank paint job!

After Southern Corrosion came to repaint the first water tank at Southern Stove Lofts, we started another loft conversion:  we built 178 apartments in an old bakery in Richmond, VA.   That building, too, had a water tank.  Well, despite the fact that we had had some bad experiences with Southern Corrosion, we figured at least they had come to repair their bad work so we contracted with them again to paint a new water tank.  WHAT A MISTAKE!! BEWARE IF YOU CHOOSE TO USE THIS COMPANY!!

Now they say that the tank was not adequately prepared; that to get good adhesion the whole thing needs to be sandblasted; they said that would cost more than $80,000!  Well, THEY are the professionals, not us!  So if they didn't think their paint job was going to be adequate, WHY DID THEY PAINT IT?  We relied on them as professionals, to tell us how to paint the tank. They quoted it and performed a paint job, but obviously they didn't paint it well enough to last even the first year!
